San Francisco OCD & Anxiety Peer Support Group
Meeting Information:
The San Francisco OCD & Anxiety Peer Support Group is a friendly, casual drop-in support group for adults (18+) with OCD (aka sticky minds), anxiety, and related experiences (aka being human) with almost no structure. We sit, talk, and hang out. I run this group to give people a space to be themselves and make friends with people who understand what living with OCD, anxiety, and related experiences can be like. I know how isolation can be detrimental to one’s health, so I want to ensure that people have a safe space to connect with others who understand.
Please don’t wear anything scented, such as perfume or lotion, since the facilitator suffers from chemical sensitivity/Mast Cell Activation Syndrome.
Accessibility info:
The space is wheelchair and mobility device accessible. There are accessible bathrooms a block away. The meeting space is scent-free and low light. Please reach out to the facilitator if you have any questions about accessibility.
The space is indoors with a ton of ventilation, so be prepared by wearing seasonally appropriate clothes.
