Awaken Counseling (Marietta)
Awaken Counseling has been specializing in treating anxiety and OCD-related disorders since its founding in 2015. Conveniently located in East Cobb, near Marietta, Roswell, and Atlanta, we are one of the largest practices in the area offering in-person anxiety treatment in Marietta and OCD treatment, alongside virtual therapy sessions for broader accessibility.
Our team consists of 13 dedicated therapists, all trained in evidence-based techniques, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) as an advanced training method for OCD treatment. Additionally, our therapists utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based practices. We work collaboratively, holding regular team meetings to learn from each other and stay up to date on the latest research for anxiety treatment, ensuring our clients receive the most effective care possible.
Our mission is to empower individuals to reclaim their lives from anxiety and OCD, using the latest research-backed methods in a compassionate and understanding setting. We also support clients dealing with postpartum mood disorders, stress, ADHD, ARFID, grief, chronic illness, health anxiety, trauma, and depression. We are proud to be a part of the IOCDF community, dedicated to providing specialized care for those affected by a range of mental health disorders.
