Meridian Psychology Practice is a group of therapists in Rochester and Buffalo NY that specializes in providing evidence-based therapy for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD, treated with DBT skills), and Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs). Meridian was started by Dr. Lauren Wadsworth, PhD ABPP with a goal of providing trustworthy evidence based therapy with no wait time. In the midst of a therapist shortage and significant need, especially in Western NY and the suburbs of Rochester and Buffalo, we strive to make it easy and fast for people to find a skilled therapist. Clients can start therapy within a week of contacting Meridian.

Our Style: Therapy is personalized for individuals to process and explore their thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and to learn skills to meet their goals. All of our providers are trained in evidence based techniques (e.g., Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, etc.) for treating anxiety, depression, and other challenges.

We offer telehealth and in person services in Rochester NY.
