NeuroBehavioral Institute (NBI)
We provide treatment programs and services in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, including neuropsychological assessment, parent and family guidance, nutritional counseling, clinical behavioral analysis, and executive functioning training services. NBI treats children, teens, and adults.
NBI has an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), PHP & the NBI Ranch Residential Program, (ages 18+) and Step Down. These programs are staffed by clinicians trained in the treatment of OCD and Anxiety-Related Disorders. Many of our patients have difficult-to-treat symptoms due to challenging comorbidities or other clinical complexities. We work closely with outside providers regarding medication management and medical issues.
Drs. Katia Moritz and Jonathan Hoffman are the NBI Program Directors and have a combined 60+ years of experience in treating OCD and Anxiety Spectrum Disorders. NBI has an APPIC-approved postdoctoral program site, providing advanced specialized training for psychologists in diagnosing and treating OCD and Related Disorders.
NBI staff collaborate with patients and families as a true clinical team from admission to discharge. Treatment plans are highly individualized while maintaining fidelity to the principles of evidence-based practice (EBP). NBI is highly experienced in providing services to individuals from diverse geographical locations and cultures – we treat many out-of-state and international patients. NBI is recognized as an exempt Health Care Clinic by the State of Florida. NBI is a private pay facility. Upon request, we can provide a superbill for services rendered that patients and families can elect to submit to their insurance company.
