NW Anxiety Institute (NWAI) is an outpatient clinic that specializes in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) to treat OCD and related anxiety disorders. NWAI was founded in 2013 and enjoys a robust clinical practice, providing Portland and the Pacific Northwest with a highly individualized Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) called the Focus Program for children, adolescents, and adults. All NWAI clinicians have completed the IOCDF’s Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI) and work together compassionately to provide individual, group, and skills-focused sessions to our clients and community.

NWAI treats the following co-occurring disorders: Social Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Specific Phobias, Illness Anxiety Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, Excoriation Disorder, Trichotillomania, Tic Disorder. Our practice adheres to a CBT framework to conceptualize and treat these diagnoses.
