Paul Bohn MD, PsyD
Clinical Professor of Psychiatry, UCLA
I am an Adult Psychiatrist practicing in West LA. I specialize in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Anxiety Disorders which include: OCD, Panic Disorder, Social Phobia, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, Agoraphobia and Specific Phobias. My approach is to first control symptoms using Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, or Medication. Later, if the patient is inclined, we will explore the roots of Anxiety, Depression, Self-consciousness or Relationship Problems with Psychotherapy.
I have over 20 years experience treating Anxiety and OCD. I graduated from the UCLA Adult Psychiatry Program in 1988, and then completed a Fellowship in Anxiety Disorders and Behavior Therapy at USC. Later, I finished a PsyD (Doctor of Clinical Psychology) in Psychotherapy, and in the late 1990's I worked as the Associate Director of the UCLA Anxiety Clinic. Currently I am a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at UCLA and a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.
