Working with the military population in Killeen, Texas, rural Midwest communities in Iowa, BIPOC and LGBTQ+ populations in Austin, Texas, has given my approach to multicultural populations a broad perspective on different cultural and social dynamics. These experiences shaped my awareness in cultural competency and inclusivity.
I have training in cultural competency and working with diverse populations. My style of psychotherapy incorporates knowledge from various cultures, languages, and social contexts, enabling me to understand and respect diverse perspectives. I continuously learn from interactions to improve my responses and provide inclusive support. My goal is to foster understanding and effective communication across cultural boundaries.
