My practice is LGBTQ affirming. I am sensitive to the stigma of mental health services within certain racial/ethnic groups and have worked with individuals in the Muslim, African-American, Indian, Latinx, Southeast Asian, Orthodox Jewish and other immigrant communities which are found in Metro Detroit.
Though not conversationally fluent enough to conduct therapy, I have good comprehension and speaking skills in Spanish and Italian.
I am Certified Provider with the World Professional Association for Transgender Health and member or the LGBTQ community. I am a consultant/evaluator for a local immigration attorney and have attended numerous training on cultural diversity. I was also raised in an interfaith household.
Treating OCD and spectrum disorders since 1992. Training through workshops with OCD Foundation of Michigan, University of Michigan Anxiety Disorders Clinic, Wayne State University Pediatric OCD Clinic, and years of peer consultation.
