Narrative of Services:

I specialize in the treatment of OCD and related disorders. My approach is grounded in empirically supported treatments, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). I believe that treatment is most effective when tailored to each individual’s unique life experiences and needs. Therefore, I use a comprehensive case formulation and process-oriented approach to enhance the efficacy of these evidence-based treatments. Additionally, I incorporate mindfulness practices as appropriate, based on the specific needs of each client. I provide both in-person and virtual therapy.

Training Description:

I am a licensed clinical psychologist at the OCD Institute and The Pavilion at McLean Hospital, and an instructor in psychology in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. I completed a pre-doctoral internship at McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School and a post-doctoral fellowship at the OCD Institute, after earning a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the Pennsylvania State University. In addition, I completed advanced training through the Institute for Meditation and Psychotherapy. My research focuses on understanding and promoting healthy emotional processes, with particular emphasis on the role of mindfulness and contemplative practices in enhancing emotional well-being.
