Narrative of Services:

I received my Master of Social Work from Texas Christian University and my Doctorate of Social Work from The University of Kentucky. In an attempt to bolster ERP efficacy, my doctoral research focused on examining the impacts of using self-compassion strategies adjunctly with ERP.

Individuals with anxiety are among the most kind-hearted and hardworking people I’ve encountered. I find it a privilege to devote my efforts to supporting this population. I came by it honestly; my empathy is abundant. 95% of my practice includes individuals experiencing OCD, with the majority presenting with mental compulsion difficulty.

Training Description:

I am dedicated to providing care that values empirical research and a strong therapeutic relationship. I believe in helping my clients realize their untapped potential. I use the gold-standard approach for OCD, Exposure-Response Prevention (ERP). I completed the BTTI intensive ERP training with the IOCDF. Furthermore, I was trained by Dr. Michael Greenberg in Rumination-Focused ERP. I am also well-versed in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Existential/Humanistic theories. Moreover, I use a trauma-informed approach and am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am equipped to treat an array of mental disturbances.
