Laura Foster PhD
Dr. Foster is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in OCD and anxiety related disorders (including trauma, worry, social anxiety, panic, health anxiety, tics, and body focused repetitive behaviors). She works with adults and adolescents. Dr. Foster provides exposure and response prevention (ERP) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She incorporates self-compassion and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) strategies into treatment. Dr. Foster also treats Tourette syndrome/tics as a certified provider of Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT). Approximately 30% of Dr. Foster’s practice serves individuals with OCD, with the remainder focusing on anxiety and trauma.

Dr. Foster received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Maine. Her training focused on evidence-based treatment and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She has completed additional training through the IOCDF, the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT), the Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA), and the Tourette Association of America (TAA).
