Narrative of Services:

Offering ongoing assessment, therapy, consultation and training of professionals for OCD, all anxiety disorders, Selective Mutism, PTSD/trauma and related disorders – for children, teens and adults. SPACE and parent training for all disorders. Percentage of practice treating OCD/OCD related disorder clients: 50% with 50% anxiety disorders/trauma. I require daily skills practice and/or ACT/ERP homework completion as part of an ongoing commitment to change. I require parent/guardian training (separate sessions) and involvement as exposure coaches for between session practice.

Using ACT & ERP for treatment of anxiety disorders, trauma, depression, ADHD, and chronic health conditions.

Training Description:

More than 25 years of postgraduate CBT, ERP, & ACT training and ongoing consultation for treatment of OCD, all anxiety disorders, selective mutism, and trauma,. Completed: McClean’s Hospital ACT and ERP for Children and Adolescents; American Society of Clinical Hypnosis training for CBT & imaginal exposure in preparation for in vivo ERP; IOCDF BTTI three day intensive trainings/consultation (adult and pediatric); Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions; (SPACE); Advanced Training for Treatment of OCD/Center for Anxiety & Behavior Therapy; and attending 2024 Advanced Forum/Flexibility Within Fidelity: Adapting Evidence-Based OCD Treatments to Client Factors. Presented OCD/PANS/PANDAS training to school staff.

Diversity Statement:

I am an interracial family member and live in a town with a range of multicultural populations in a town committed to pluralism and interfaith exchange, with racial, LGBTQ+, socioeconomic, religious, ability and country of origin diversity. I work with children, teens, adults and families who have Black, Asian, LatinX, Native American, LGTBQ+, adoption, socioeconomic, disability, neurodivergent, Christian, Islamic, Jewish, Unitarian, Buddhist, Hindu and Immigration/refugee intersectionalities that may often be a focus in therapy.

I attend at least one training per year on racial, religious, cultural, LGTBQ+, disability, neurodiversity and/or socioeconomic diversity. My training areas have included implicit bias in therapy and mediation, and diversity training regarding Asian/ Asian American, Black, LatinX American, Islamic, Jewish, Buddhist, neurodivergent, disabled and LGBTQ+ cultures/experiences and values. I have been a long time practitioner/trainee in Tiebetan and Insight Meditation and now Insight Dialogue and integrate them into psychotherapy upon request.
