Current practice comprises approximately 50% OCD and OC Related Disorders, and approximately 75% Anxiety Disorders. Have treated 300-400 patients with OCD/Related disorders, perhaps 600-700 with Anxiety Disorders.
Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Dysthymia, Anxiety, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Anxiety NOS, Social Anxiety, Performance/Test Taking Anxiety, Panic Disorders, Phobias, Health Related Issues.
Trained as clinical psychologist. 30+ years of practice treating teens, young adults & adults with issues including OCD (subtypes contamination, sexual orientation, violent/sexual urges, scrupulosity, sensorimotor, perfectionism). Also treat range of anxiety issues to include Health Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Performance Anxiety, & comorbid Uni- and Bi-Polar Depression, Tics, Tricotillomania, Tourette’s Syndrome. Much experience with impact on/solutions for work, school, college environments. Training in ACT, CBT, CBT-i, ERP/T,Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Teletherapy. Most recent continuing education in 2023 Developing Effecting Exposure Therapy for Adult Clients. On Waiting List for Summer 2024 IOCDF Health Anxiety Consult Group.
Extensive work with Christian patients/families, LGBTQ-I patients, as well as patients/families from rural and politically or morally conservative communities with distinct cultural values and influence. Extensive work with teens and current teen culture, as well as academia to include work with international, undergraduate and graduate students as well faculty.
