About 1/3 of my practice is comprised of OCD treatment. I utilize I-CBT which has resulted in great success in treatment outcomes. I-CBT is a cognitive intervention for OCD which addresses the reasoning process that creates obsessional doubt. In ICBT, you learn how to return to normal reasoning which resolves the doubt, obsessional narrative, distress and compulsions or avoidance. Treatment is structured with resources which my clients keep and utilize following treatment.
I also treat anxiety and trauma recovery, guilt reduction, codependency recovery, self-development, relationship challenges, stress reduction and goal attainment. I utilize nervous system regulation techniques, CBT, IFS informed, EFIT, ACT, DBT, mindfulness/meditation, and metacognition modalities.
I have been treating OCD for 7 years. I am a member of the Association for Inference-Based Cognitive Therapy and participate in weekly ICBT trainings. I am also trained in CBT, including ERP, and attend training groups on Exposure therapy with TEAM CBT trainers.
I have experience treating clients from many cultural and religious backgrounds. I have experience working with and sensitivity to clients who have immigrated to the US or who are children of parents who immigrated to the US.
