Karan Lamb PsyD
I offer telehealth services throughout all of Florida, providing evidence-based treatment for OCD and OC-related disorders, anxieties, trichotillomania, skin picking/excoriation, phobias, and hoarding. I am trained to use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Habit Reversal (HR), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
I work with clients with the overlap of ADHD and OCD and change the treatment structure by considering the length of therapy sessions, frequency of sessions, and using supportive technology to support the usage of skill development. I also work with autistic individuals in collaborative relationship to manage heightened anxieties, sensory sensitivities, and/or OCD.
I am a licensed psychologist and have worked with children, teens and adults with anxieties, OCD, and BFRBs for the past 20 years. I was a clinical interviewer at the Johns Hopkins OCD Family Study, where I developed strong diagnostic and assessment skills. I also received additional training from the University of Pennsylvania Master Clinician Training Institute in 2008 and 2010. I am trained with CBT with ERP, Inference-based CBT (consultation with Dr. Fred Aardema), and ACT. I am a current member of the IOCDF, ADAA, and Florida Psychological Association, and an Adjunct Professor at the University of South Florida.
