Narrative of Services:

Dr. Lewin is the program director and conducts intake evaluations, supervises clinicians, and sees a small caseload of return patients. His former trainees provide expert care across the country, many are in director/faculty roles and/or have their own OCD-focused specialty programs. The USF Rothman Center has a team of experts in OCD treatment as well as studies/clinical trial options.

Anxiety, Misophonia, Tourette, OCD – Dr. Lewin is a Tourette Association and IOCDF Behavioral Therapy Institute Trainer and specializes in CBIT/tic education for providers.

Training Description:

Dr. Lewin is a Professor of Pediatrics and Psychiatry at USF Health. He is the OCD Program Director, Division Chief of USF Pediatric Neuropsychiatry, and Interim Rothman Endowed Chair of Developmental Pediatrics. He received his PhD in Clinical and Health Psychology at the University of Florida (concentration in Child/Pediatric) and residency/fellowship at UCLA (child-adolescent specialty track within their OCD/Anxiety/Tic Program). He is a board certified Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychologist. He serves on the Board of Directors for the American Board of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology (President Elect 2022). He is an associate editor for the Journal of Obsessive-Compulsive and Related Disorders, Child Psychiatry and Human Development and the Journal of Child and Family Studies. He is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association. He is an OCD BTTI faculty member and a Tourette BTI faculty member.
