Perry Leynor LPC

Perry works with individuals of all ages struggling with OCD & Anxiety disorders. He regularly treats conditions such as Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs), panic disorder, mood disorders, and severe mental illness (SMI), including Schizophrenia Spectrum and Other Psychotic Disorders. Perry’s caseload consists 90% of OCD and related disorders while the other 10% on severe mental illness and other disorders.

I treat all frequently co-occuring disorders with OCD including personality disorders with evidence based treatments utilizing behavior analytic principles and a functional analytic based approach.

Perry Leynor, LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas with six years of training and experience. Perry earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) and a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Midwestern State University (MSU). He has worked in a variety of settings including community, higher-level care, and private practice. Perry utilizes evidence-based approaches, including exposure and response prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT).

We attend trainings to help clinicians advance in their treatment of OCD and co-occurring behavioral issues with sensitivity and in-depth case consultation that considers the impact of various histories on symptomology and treatment response.
