Narrative of Services:

Freedom from OCD is possible! Starting therapy can take a lot of strength and courage. I am here to partner and collaborate with you on that journey. I work to build a therapeutic relationship that is supportive, compassionate and trusting. My approach is active, non-judgmental and goal-oriented. I specialize in treating OCD (including Pure-O), hair-pulling (trichotillomania), skin-picking (excoriation), and all types of anxiety. I also have expertise in addressing concerns related to perfectionism, body-image, mood challenges, and postpartum/perinatal issues. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Training Description:

I am a licensed clinical psychologist and founder and director of a private group practice, CBT for Better Living where I provide evidence-based treatment to patients, as well as supervision and training to clinicians. We see clients in NY, NJ, and FL. I earned my Ph.D. and M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Hofstra University. I received extensive training by a world-renowned OCD and Pure-O expert, and member of IOCDF’s Scientific Advisory Board. I completed my clinical internship and post-doctoral fellowship at the Center for Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapy, a practice that specializes in the evidence-based treatment of OCD spectrum and anxiety disorders.
