Erica G. Moran Etter PhD
The majority of Dr. Etter’s clients have OCD and other co-occurring disorders. Dr. Etter has been providing individual therapy to clients with OCD in a variety of settings including hospitals, residential treatment centers, and most recently private practice. Dr. Etter has trained with advanced practitioners in the field to gain expertise in treating various presentations of OCD in clients of all ages.
All anxiety disorders, phobias, mood disorders including depression and bipolar disorder, trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anger management, and sleep issues.
Dr. Etter is licensed psychologist with over 15 years of experience in providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Etter completed her undergraduate work at Cornell University, earning a B.A. in both psychology and neurobiology. She then received her masters and doctoral degrees from the University of Denver’s Clinical Psychology Program. Dr. Etter has received specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (E/RP) to treat OCD and other anxiety disorders. Dr. Etter also has specific training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and uses an integrated approach for treatment.
