Colleen Porter LCMHC, LMHC
The vast majority of my practice is focused on OCD and anxiety. I use telehealth services focused on Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
I have been a licensed mental health clinician since 2014 and have been specializing in OCD treatment since 2018. I have trained with the IOCDF through their BTTI and have completed additional CEUs related to anxiety and OCD treatment. I have worked in inpatient, residential, and outpatient settings. I am constantly increasing my knowledge-base and staying current with recent developments in the mental health field. Additionally, I hold a master’s degree in Expressive Arts Therapy and Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University, and incorporate creative expression to therapy when possible and appropriate.
Diversity Statement:
I complete yearly trainings focused on cultural competency and diversity, equity, and inclusion. I work regularly with clients from a variety of cultural, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds. I also complete yearly trainings in LGBTQIA+ ethical practices.
