Eliyahu Serkez LPC
My practice is dedicated to treating OCD, anxiety, and misophonia-related disorders. I provide individualized treatment using ERP, CBT, and ACT to help clients struggling with compulsions, intrusive thoughts, and avoidance behaviors. I specialize in OCD with comorbid ASD and sensory sensitivities, particularly misophonia. My structured yet compassionate approach helps clients regain control of their lives. I have extensive experience treating numerous individuals with OCD and related disorders, offering both in-person and telehealth services.
I am Eliyahu Serkez, a licensed therapist with over 8 years of experience specializing in OCD, anxiety, and misophonia. I have extensive post-graduate training in treating OCD and related disorders, including training at the Center for OCD and Misophonia and Rockland CBT. Many feel trapped by intrusive thoughts, avoidance, and rituals that seem impossible to break. I use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help individuals regain control and reclaim their lives. Taking the first step is courageous—let’s begin this journey together.
I have extensive experience working with a diverse and multicultural population, providing culturally sensitive care to clients from various backgrounds. I understand the importance of tailoring treatment to each individual’s unique experiences and perspectives. My practice is inclusive and affirming, ensuring that clients from all walks of life feel heard and supported. Additionally, I have experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum who struggle with OCD, anxiety, and sensory sensitivities. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where clients feel empowered to work through their challenges.
