My practice, consisting of myself and 13 other providers, specializes in treating OCD and anxiety disorders, with approximately 80% of our clients seeking care for these conditions (we also address depression and trauma). We offer comprehensive OCD assessments and utilize gold-standard therapies for OCD, including exposure and response prevention (ERP), enhanced by elements of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and compassion-based approaches tailored to individual needs. We provide weekly therapy sessions, as well as more intensive options (2-3 times per week) for those experiencing more severe symptoms or seeking faster progress.
Social anxiety disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, major depression, low self-esteem, perfectionism, and people-pleasing. Treatment starts with a thorough assessment to identify the factors driving your symptoms, as well as the role anxiety and avoidance play in your daily life. Together, we’ll work on systematically confronting the situations you fear (exposure) both in and out of sessions. You’ll also gain skills to: challenge limiting beliefs, gain a deeper understanding of your difficulties, manage and care for your emotions, practice self-compassion, and improve your relationships with others.
I have received focused training and supervision with a senior provider in the field during post-doctoral training at Stanford Medicine, after receiving direct supervision with another senior provider in the field during my clinical internship at Yale University, and have completed several ERP workshops throughout graduate training at Kent State University.
Our practice serves a diverse range of clients from various cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. We prioritize culturally responsive care, ensuring that treatment approaches are sensitive to each individual’s unique experiences and identities. Our team has experience working with multicultural populations, including clients from LGBTQ+ communities, immigrants, and first-generation individuals. We strive to create a safe and inclusive environment where cultural values are respected and integrated into therapy.
Our practice embraces individuals from diverse backgrounds. I have received extensive supervision in culturally sensitive therapy and deeply value each client’s unique experiences. Additionally, I have served on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee during my graduate training at Kent State University and during my clinical internship at Yale University. As I work with clients, I incorporate their social, cultural, and developmental histories into their personalized treatment plans. Gold-standard therapies are adapted to ensure they not only address symptoms but also align with each individual’s cultural context, history, and personal values.
