Christine R. Smith PsyD
I offer individual therapy for adolescents and adults with body dysmorphic disorder and eating disorders. This population makes up roughly half of my practice.
I treat adolescents and adults with eating disorders and/or body dysmorphic disorder (BDD) in my private practice, Lightlist Psychological Services Inc. Alongside my work in private practice, I teach psychology as an adjunct professor at Bentley University and William James College. My fellowship was completed at McLean Hospital’s Klarman Eating Disorder Center and my APA-accredited internship at the White River Junction VA Medical Center. I also trained and treated eating disorders at Walden Behavioral Care. I extensively use in my practice Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for BDD, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for BDD, Exposure and Response Prevention, and other evidence-based interventions.
