Narrative of Services:

My private practice primarily focuses on serving clients at the intersections of OCD, eating disorders (all types), neurodiversity, and/or gender-affirming care. So far, most of my clients have been eating disorders, but my goal is to diversify so that approx. half of my practice focus on OCD & related disorders, while eating disorders is approx. half.

Training Description:

I have worked with clients with OCD for 2+ years. My initial OCD training was through a past employer in an Eating Disorder-treatment context. I’ve attended every IOCDF training and learning opportunity. I have regular peer and multidisciplinary consultation, and have been on the BTTI waitlist since Dec. ’23. I believe I will pursue I-CBT training in 2025.

Diversity Statement:

I’m a queer, white, cisgender woman with thin privilege (like a lot of people in this field). I chose social work over other professions due to the emphasis of considering individuals within their broader social, economic, and environmental backgrounds. I’m doing my best to learn and use anti-oppression practices in my daily work (e.g., promoting resources with shared, lived experiences). I believe that human relationships can be the most powerful vehicle for change. I completely understand if you’re looking for a provider who shares more lived experiences with you, and am happy to be a placeholder while you’re searching.

Countless social work courses, work-affiliated trainings, and trainings I’ve personally sought online or at conferences. In a past role, I developed and provided LGBTQIA+ Inclusion trainings for youth-serving professionals in my community, and have been a public speaker on Ally 101 (regarding all systematically oppressed populations) in my local school district’s elementary, middle, and high schools.
