Dr. Jessica Weatherford has extensive experience treating OCD and related disorders using evidence-based approaches. During her training at Rutgers University, she sought specialized supervision and clinical experiences focused on OCD treatment. Dr. Weatherford has in-depth expertise in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard intervention for OCD, helping clients face fears while reducing compulsions. She also integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), supporting clients in accepting difficult thoughts and emotions without acting on compulsive urges. Through a compassionate, collaborative approach, Dr. Weatherford empowers clients to build resilience and regain control over their lives by breaking OCD’s cycle.
Dr. Jessica Weatherford is committed to culturally competent care, especially in the treatment of OCD. She completed intensive multicultural competency training during her psychology internship and post-doctoral fellowship, gaining expertise in working with diverse populations.
