Catherine Webster PsyD
The majority (~65%) of individuals who Dr. Webster serve meet criteria for OCD and/or OC Related disorders. Approximately 50% of her clients are children or adolescents while the remaining 50% are adults. She also provides parenting support and skills training for the parents of children with OCD and OC related disorders.
ACT informed ERP for OCD and co-occurring disorders such as depression, generalized anxiety, interpersonal difficulties, and stress management.
Dr. Webster is a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive clinical training and experience in the evidence-based treatment of anxiety, mood, obsessive-compulsive spectrum, impulse control and emotion regulation disorders serving children, adolescents, adults and families in community and hospital-based settings. She utilizes evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Habit Reversal Training (HRT) as well as parenting skills and support in managing and decreasing problematic behaviors and emotion regulation difficulties in children. She received her Psy.D. from Yeshiva University and completed her internship at University of Rochester Medical Center in 2014.
